It successfully proceeds from steps 1-4 and then tells me I should reboot. Next I run the Office Deployment tool with the command line: setup.exe /configure RemoveSkype.xmlĪfter that I see the Office Deployment tool run. To test the tool I am first killing the skype task: taskkill /f /im lync.exe Here is what my RemoveSkype.xml looks like: I have downloaded the latest ODT and created an XML called RemoveSkype.xml and I have placed it in the same folder with SETUP.EXE from the ODT. I am trying to do this with the Office Deployment tool. I need to create a Skype removal package that I can deploy with SCCM. We want to remove Skype and migrate users to Teams. We have Windsystems with Office 365 including Skype for Business. I've seen other posts regarding Skype removal using SCCM but I can't seem to get the Office Deployment tool to do this successfully. As a general rule, if someone has flair, they almost definitely know what they're talking about.
