The vocals are sort of a harsh-spoken voice type. Again, the creepy synths appear and are accompanied by dull accoustic guitar performance. "Nothing (Monologue) " sounds like something from a demo from the LLN. I don't know whether it's a production issue, but the vocals are nothing more than cloudy, thick grunts that add very little to the music. In the midst of it all, bad vocals triumph. It seems the members are fighting each other to see how can claim victory over this mess of sound and this happens during the rest of the track. And that's about where I decide to skip to the next track. Then, all of a sudden, the heaviness pops in and the music becomes a chaotic wave of noise. It starts off quietly with eerie synths - it sounds like something from a 50's horror movie! This is well complemented by the ever accelerating drums and accoustic guitars.

I love the buildup for "Ad Infinitum (Dark I) ". If I had to name a perk of this demo, it would be about how creepy it sounds sometimes.

Nevertheless you sure won't find anything like this on most of Astrofaes' other releases. Most of Ad Infinitum is a random mess of ideas that can be interesting if you're open minded, but otherwise not very essential for anyone's collection. I am actually not sure what they were trying to accomplish here. Where Astrofeas is usually known for making heavier, faster driven black metal with a touch of ambiance, their first demo borders on the line of experimental music, featuring a number of effects that don't appear on other albums, and some strange songwriting. For sure a 4/5 in my book :D.Ad Infinitum sounds nothing like the traditional work of Astrofaes. And the music actually works! Nice game, though some spelling errors are apparent, along with some grammatical errors. It is certainly not a bad visual novel by any means, nothing like Minor/Major however, but hey! I'm sure this game won't delete my saves for no reason T-T. The skipping of school, and the sped up travel through days give it even more of a Saturday morning cartoon vibe. I've only gotten to the point in which I meet Logan but so far it feels exactly like a Saturday morning cartoon, which is certainly no insult! The soundtrack has this Sonic Unleashed feel which is, no matter your opinion of the game, pretty damn good! I enjoy this game a lot! There aren't many choices you make this far into the game unfortunately, but that adds to the cartoon part to it, which certainly is a double edge sword, it can give some serious segments less gravity on the reader, though I'm unsure if there will be any. You ever wanted to play through a Saturday morning cartoon? This is surely something for you then.
